I’m reeling thinking about the next episode being a musical. Was that a joke? That’s like going to shake salt on your already bad food and having the top come off the shaker and the entire contents spill out onto your plate. How could this be? Why would they do this? They are just doing it because they can. I have so many questions. This show is wild.

I probably wasn’t paying enough attention since my Gen Q watch parties mainly consist of loud commentary and yelling, but why does Taylor lie and say she has work but then goes to the movie on her date? Did Alice invite her to that very movie where she already had plans to be? Or did Alice invite her on vague plans that didn’t formulate until after Taylor turned her down? For some reason this is the plot hole that bothers me the most. Also, in the last episode they have the 3-day lesbian date, which was written as if it was their first time doing such a thing, yet it seems like weeks had passed since the last episode (first day of school semester to Halloween??). I hope that autostraddle “canonical timeline of what happens in the L word” has been updated to address this, I need answers.
