Ok finally finished this shit last night. Most of what needs to be said has already been said lol, but one lingering question for me is what the fuck is up with Lexi and Mal's relationship? Like, are these two actually besties or does Lexi just think that and Mal is being nice? What was going on in Mal's head during their trial marriage - were they at all bought in to the idea that the two of them were some type of soul mates, or are they just a people pleaser? Also, how do they manage to be the most fuckable person on the show and simultaneously the #1 perpetrator of "my hell yeah"/"showing up"/"choosing you"/"do life together" language? Mind = boggled. Their reunion fit was incredibly good.
the last two episodes and carmen maria machado’s perspective changed a lot for me... in retrospect, this was ultimately such an upsetting show 🙃 happy to have gotten to participate in online community about it but wish producers had handled it infinitely more responsibly

This is like third hand gossip but my friend watched a tiktok of someone who was at a watch party with Yoly and Yoly implied that Mal cheated on her pre-show which was an impetus of them going on the show. And why Mal was so chill about Yoly being with Xander etc. Idk I don’t buy it!!! But it did make me think hmmmm Mal said they weren’t gonna sleep with Lexi.
Lol at Aussie and Marianne Williamson. They are the only couple I haven’t looked up on social media.
Serious yikes at that Netflix article where Mildred says ultimatums are good!!!
